Sunshine Class

Welcome to Sunshine Class. Miss Harris is our teacher, Mrs Linney is our class helper. In our class there are a mixture of children who come part - time as well as Reception, Year One and Year Two children.

This term in Geography we are looking at the weather in different countries. We are also looking at different types of homes around the world

In science we are looking at lots of different materials to see if they are natural or man made. We are also seeing what happens to them when they are mealted, cooled, dissolved and mixed!

Some Homework Memories made by children following their visit to Morwelham Quay.
* We dressed up in old clothes
* The ladies wore long skirts
* We saw a working water wheel, it was very old.
* We went on a train it took us down in the mine.
* In the school room they had things to put on your fingers to stop you fiddling, they were made of wood.
They had a stick to smack hands - boys on the back and girls on the front!

In History this term we are studying what farms are like now and what they were like in the past.

We shall be looking at what farms were like in the 1800s and 1900s and compare them to modern farms.  We shall learn about the development of milk production and distribution.  We shall use a picture timeline to record our findings.
